Is there an adapter thats the male end of a computer monitor cable and the other end S-video?

Looking to show off my laptop on a new TV. video output on the laptop is a mooring place to monitor regularly. Not sure of the name. VGA or something like that.

Who will ever use.

The VGA-Svideo adapters are designed for video cards with a custom-built VGA port capable of sending a signal S-video. It will NOT work with just a VGA port.

Is there a cable/adapter to connect video/audio plug-in ( like the ones in TVs) to a computer monitor?

Nope. The VGA haven on a computer monitor can only receive an analog RGBHV signal. It is NOT compatible with TV composite or S-video.

If you do not have a production component to change from there you are missing some unusual adapters to get the parent video of what you have (composite or S-Video) to VGA.
