This Cables to Go usb to parallel adapter is for those with the conventional 2′ish inch wideness ends on their printer cable, and are faced with a newer computer that has no hubby on the back, only the USB refuge on the back that most newer printers join to . And if,like me, you’re faced with no parallel (not on target) association contact on the back of your new computer, and have a positively esteemed printer, then this adapter is for you – well made, unerring plan, and all you have to do is fasten the two extreme ends, and then recommendation straight away into a erect USB mooring on the while the computer is operation. The printer almost instantly spits out a assay time! Very walking on air inclusive and fancy strongly this adapter will behave on 95% of the systems out there that command this fix — something the manufactures should ask about when background up the system for novices

I contacted the vendor, CableToGo, to beg an XP driver and was told that no XP driver was ever made (98ME is the limit of drivers supplied) and that for XP this adapter was for PRINTING ONLY!
