how am I good at solving this problem?

I when you are connected to HDMI, you send the video signal, but not the audio signal and the audio does not familiar with HDMI. So you probably need to go into the bios and see if there is an introduction to the HDMI audio, or HD audio or something.

I recently connected my tv to my PC with an HDMI cable. They both have HDMI ports and the video works sunny. However the audio will only come out of my PC speakers. What do I have to do to get it to use the TV's speakers?

I am on windows xp if that makes a diversity.

If you are using HDMI with no adapters, you may indigence to go into the tv audio menu and change the source to HDMI.

If you are using a DVI to HDMI adapter or bury the hatchet cord, DVI does not carry audio and you need to use a seperate spell cord.
