soft, feels superior control, absorbs impact, feels especially nice!

I'm looking into getting a sleeve case for my laptop. What is better a soft padded sleeve case or a hardcover ?

Initially I kindliness of a hardcase, but than I thought well Im afraid of it bumping on stuff...that can still mar the laptop inside the hardcase..so i thought well the padded might actually be bettor since it is padded, and will likely bounce in the padded stuff....I'm dismay...

Soft padded is crap-shooter if you are going to put the laptop in the sleeve then in a backpack or briefcase, hard case is more safely a improved if you're going to carry the laptop around on its own.
