Should I go with nVidia GTX 280 or 285 for SLI?

Well i'm on eBay.com.au and they're selling GTX 285 for like $500, but they're selling GTX 280 for around $255

I want to set up SLI on my P6T6 WS (which allows 3-way SLI), but I only have a 1000w PSU.

Should I go 2-way GTX 285 for like $1000? or
