Do you have to take out the motherboard to install a Cooler Master V8 heatsink on an lga775 motherboard?

His present to replace a stock Intel heatsink and fan. I wonder if I can keep the same plate that the heatsink came with the creator.
No, the V8 Cooler Master is an Intel Socket 775 retention layer which must be installed.

hi all im upsetting to clean my heatsink fan on my desktop advent t9206, ive put some links here of pictures ive enchanted of it. my fan seems to be louder and faster during past month, and thats with moral general browsing without gaming. so wondering if looking at the pics
what i use to clear out my fans is just compressed air
try and do it outside if you can the dust develop intensify up blown around is not good for your lungs
