Hello I just bought a socket Intel Pentium T2310 dual core 479 and try to install in my HP s7510n, but he still closed when I try to turn it on help please do I computer TBO have upgrade?

can i run windows 7 on my intel Pentium M 160ghz 512 ram laptop?

i dont skilled in what all this means but i have this laptop and was thinking about making it 2gig of ram and puting windows 7 on it . if this aspect will run 7 whitch version should i run there is two different bit sizes. said laptop is a dell latitude D505
