is there an adapter/converter with coax input & either usb or s-video or ethernet output?
Input is coax right (turn) - the one used by cable companies. Performance can be any USB or S-video and Ethernet!

does anyone know of an adapter that takes s video and goes to a vga input -from a camera to a computer monitor?
I have a camera betrothed to a microscope and we are trying to run an s video cable to a computer monitor, but the monitor has a vga input. does anyone be aware of any adapters that go this way, the only ones I find go from vga to s video.
It is not in effect as simple as a cable adapter because the S-video signal is not the same as the VGA signal. You need a s-video to VGA converter:
