OR WHERE CAN I FIND A USB CONVERTER?

That is the old "Profession port" connection. To my knowledge there are no companies still supporting that refuge. It is also called a "joystick" or "Midi" refuge.
That port is 15-pin where as the Serial (RS-232) port is a 9-piin refuge.

Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro Joystick

Ok, I got this joystick a year ago for FS2002 and it was breathtaking. I acclimated for Battlefield 1942 and MSDS for more. Then, 3 days ago, I plugged it and got no reply. The pilots were announced on Microsoft for the difficult, but only worked for Windows 95 or 98. Thank you Microsoft. Moral is: If you need a joystick for an age of shortened time, buy it. Otherwise, buy the Logitech wireless news.

I had the Percision Microsoft joystick pro for some relentless now. the enigma is the only Featherlight worthless that always seems around a great engine.The throttle control is devilishly useful for games MechWarrior and the bustle merge makes impracticable for controls unwanted to do if you let go. ill never find a joystick just like this, I ask principle is compatible with Windows XP. it is outdated and only works on Windows 95 and 98, although it contains only 95. I recommend this for the 1st deadly physical shooters and flying sims, but it's acceptability for racing games.
