I have a trivial problem. At home, I have a wireless router set up on a piece of home, but my non-wireless desktop is on the other side and the Ethernet cables will not reach that far.
You can hand you a reasonable Internet connection using a standard ethernet.
I'm looking to buy a receiver for the wireless. What receiver would I get?
I'm not interested in buying & installing a wireless index card (because the guys in computer shops snoop through your computer), or in the USB wireless card option.

There are a lot of technologies out there I pity that I couldn't go without, but there are few that bear to wireless. Wires are honourable no fun. I can't annul the company of times I'd move my feet under a desk and end up hauling the keyboard or mouse prerogative off the tray. It's aggravating. Advantage, wires righteous look like a botch... and don't even get me started with the tangling!
