i need help with my viewsonic lcd monitor vx922?

will my viewsonic monitor still work if the connection piece is missing some teeth?
i have a viewsonic VE155b and the kin cable is missing some gold prongs.
Since this is an LCD monitor, you should get a wire that has all 15 pins, UNLESS this cable was made like that and came with the monitor, but I have not seen such a radio with LCD monitors. All the ones I have seen have all 15 pins in them.
